Dr. Lance Inman
Dr. Lance Inman is a native of Williamstown, West Virginia, graduating from Williamstown High School in 1990. He is a 1994 graduate of Marshall University, in Huntington, West Virginia, with a Bachelor of Science degree. GO HERD!!
He went on to attend Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois, and graduated as a Doctor of Optometry in 1998. Dr. Inman returned home that same year and started working with Dr. John Stavrakis, in the Walmart in Vienna, West Virginia. In 2000, he opened his own practice in the South Parkersburg Walmart. He currently continues his Inman Family Eye Care practice at this location.
Dr. Inman practices general and medical optometry. He enjoys fitting contact lenses, treating anterior eye diseases, and learning about his patients. He also examines the eyes for glaucoma, diabetes, hypertension, and other medical conditions that can affect the eyes. Families are always welcome—especially the kids, as they keep Dr. Inman entertained and laughing.
Dr. Inman resides in Williamstown, West Virginia, with his wife Samantha, whom he has been married to since 1996, and his two children Eli and Georgie. Dr. Inman loves sports, mostly watching his kids play basketball, soccer, and baseball. He is a HUGE fan of the Marshall Thundering Herd and the Dallas Cowboys.
As of 2015, Dr. Inman has 16 years in practice of caring for his patients, with 14 years at his current location. He is a 16-year member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and West Virginia Association of Optometric Physicians (WVAOP). His office provides a steady operation of providing consistent patient care, and accepts all insurances.
Joan Smith is a Parkersburg, West Virginia native, and a Parkersburg South High School graduate. She has been with Dr. Inman since 2001. She handles the receptionist position as well as pretesting and insurance billing. She is the person responsible for keeping the office running smoothly and keeping Dr. Inman on time and in line.Joan is a dedicated employee with a great personality who treats patients extremely well.
She resides in Parkersburg, West Virginia, with her husband, Lance, and her two children, Dylan and Lexi. Both children graduated from Parkersburg South High School and currently attend WVU and WVU-P, respectively.
